Junior Section Bicester Triathlon Club
We have an active Junior Triathlon Section lead by Mick Thorne, winner of
Triathlon England’s South Central Children’s Coach of the Year 2017.
If you are interested in having your child join us then please email Mick at
mickthorne@aol.com for further information
Please follow this link to our Clubspark page where all training and membership
is detailed and membership sign up options can be found;

Junior training will take place on a Saturday afternoon consisting of;
-
Bike/run at St Edburgs Primary School Bicester
-
3:00 - 4:15pm (weather permitting),
-
Swim 4:45 - 5:45.
All children must be capable of swimming 50mrs (2 lengths) without undue stress. Unfortunately we cannot offer swimming lessons. They should also own a bicycle and bicycle helmet. No helmet no training!
The junior section will run independently from the main Bicester Triathlon Club but will be answerable to the main committee and as such will be represented on the main committee. If you are interested in 'getting involved' and helping with running the junior section please let me know, we will be looking for all the usual club management positions as well as any parent/guardian that is interested in assisting with coaching.
Below is the current age groupings for juniors, what we will be able to offer will depend a lot on interest shown, however we will do our best to accommodate everyone.'
